Troopers from 3rd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade exit the gas chamber after reciting the Fiddler’s Green, and performing exercises for their Spur Ride on April 16 at Fort Bliss, Texas. The Spur Ride is an Army tradition that dates back to the beginning of the American Cavalry, and although the ride varies from unit to unit, the tradition stays the same. (U.S. Army photo by Pfc.
