A member of the Hurlburt Field Honor Guard lays a wreath of roses at the Operation Eagle Claw Memorial, April 24, 2018, at Hurlburt Field, Fla. Upon the return of the Eagle Claw participants, eight rose bushes were planted outside the 8th Special Operations Squadron building in honor of the eight servicemen who lost their lives at Desert One. On April 28, 2000, the rose bushes were planted in front of the chapel, with an inscribed memorial. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Ryan Conroy)
