(April 21, 2018) -- Amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) Commanding Officer, Captain Brad Busch (right) and Command Master Chief Ryan Lamkin, finish a five mile run as part of the 7th Annual Bataan Death March Memorial Run held April 21, at the Dismal Swamp in Chesapeake, Va. The run/walk commemorated the 75,000 American and Filipino service members that marched 65 miles to Camp O'Donnell after the surrender of Bataan during WWII on April 9, 1942.
