PATROL BASE BEN, Helmand province, Afghanistan -- Easton, Pa., native Lance Cpl. Scott Schaller talks with the Marines in his squad during his down time. The 28-year-old rifleman with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, said he is looking forward to returning home soon. The Marines of Company G are nearing the end of their seven-month deployment, where they helped to clear the Trek Nawa area of insurgents and bring security to local residents.
