AQABA, Jordan (April 25, 2018) – U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Ryan Gilfillan, an explosive ordnance disposal technician, shows a remote detonation device to his Jordanian counterpart during exercise Eager Lion 18. Eager Lion is a capstone training engagement that provides U.S. forces and the Jordan Armed Forces an opportunity to rehearse operating in a coalition environment and to pursue new ways to collectively address threats to regional security and improve overall maritime security.
