Venessa Hardy and John Romero, referees with the United States Fight League, demonstrate all the rules and moves that acquire points for the Commanding General’s Cup Grappling Tournament on Camp Pendleton, Calif., May 2, 2018. The grappling tournament showcased techniques from a wide range of styles, to include Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. Each round lasted for three minutes and participants were granted points for their takedowns, transitions, positioning and submission attempts, with successful submissions earning them a victory.
