A little girl holds onto a bottle of purified water she received, July 4, from the water distribution area in her native village of Culandanum, Palaw-an. A cholera outbreak was declared, April 1, in Culandanum after at least 11 people died due to severe diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration believed to be caused by contaminated water.
