U.S. Army Pfc. Alex Rojas, assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 63rd Armor Regiment, sprays a chemical mixture on pre-identified contaminated areas while testing a tactical decontamination concept at Joint Warfighting Assessment (JWA) 18, Hohenfels, Germany. The chemical mixture mitigates the contaminated areas to a non-lethal threshold, just one of the emerging concepts and capabilities being testing at the JWA. The assessment’s Soldier-led exercises enable immediate feedback from Soldiers and leaders. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Shaiyla Hakeem)
