Midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy listen intently as Rear Adm. Patrick H. Brady discusses the opportunities afforded by a career in the submarine community. Rear Adm. Brady, Commander, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command and a career submariner, spoke to the midshipmen as part of their Professional Training for Midshipmen summer training event. PROTRAMID is a three-week summer training program designed to expose midshipmen to the submarine, surface, aviation and United States Marine Corps communities to help them make informed career decisions.
