PACIFIC OCEAN (May 6, 2018)— Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) transits the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Southern California during Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and 13th MEU exercise (ARGMEUEX). ARGMEUEX enhances joint integration, lethality and collective capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team through joint planning and execution of challenging and realistic training scenarios.
