Airman Robert Feher-Johnson, 363rd Training Squadron A10 armament systems apprentice course Airman, preforms a functional check, while his classmate Airman Sanderly De Lima Janez waits in the cockpit for further instructions at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, April 26, 2018. Feher-Johnson is testing the functionality of the A10 Thunderbolt's primary weapon, the 30 mm GAU-8/A cannon. The GAU-8/A is made up of seven 30 mm barrels that can shoot up to 3,900 rounds per minute. The A10 is formally nicknamed the Warthog for it not being the prettiest plane, but definitely one of the toughest in existence. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Pedro Tenorio)
