U.S. Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a mock amphibious assault at Freshwater Beach in support of Talisman Sabre 2011 on July 19. Australian Defence Force amphibious landing craft also conducted ship to shore operations. TS11 is a biennial joint international training exercise focused on increasing U.S. and Australian military interoperability during humanitarian and combat operations.
