The mounting bracket of the extended dual-band antenna is secured to the fender with two fastening screws and a bolt run vertically through the engine well skin on an explosive ordnance disposal emergency response vehicle. A square cutout is seen in the interior engine well skin. This opening provides the installer with enough space to hold a nut in place with a wrench and torque the bolt from the top to lock the mount down in place.
