Soldiers with the 131st Field Hospital stand in formation during a ceremony welcoming Lt. Col. Deon Maxwell and Master Sgt. Alicia Persondek, as the unit’s first commander and senior enlisted advisor, respectively, since being the second active-duty unit to reorganize and redesignate from a combat support hospital to a field hospital, at Fort Bliss and Old Ironsides Museum, April 20. The unit was previously the 31st Combat Support Hospital.
