Antonio Garay, a Marine Corps martial arts program instructor with 1st Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp Pendleton, Calif., teaches special forces service members from the Republic of Korea’s 21st Battalion, International Peace Keeping Force, techniques during the field training exercise portion of Exercise Khaan Quest 2011 at Five Hills Training Area near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Aug. 1. Several nations exchanged martial arts techniques during the training. Khaan Quest is a training exercise designed to strengthen the capabilities of U.S., Mongolian and other participating nations’ forces in international peace support operations worldwide.
