Sailors assigned to the forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown and Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit man the rails as Germantown pulls into Brisbane, Australia, for a port visit. Germantown and the 31st MEU recently completed exercise Talisman Sabre 2011, a bilateral command post and field training exercise intended to maintain a high level of interoperability between the U.S. and Australian forces.
