Sailors aboard the mine counter-measure ship USS Gladiator (MCM 11) maintain positive control of a mine sweeping floatation device as it is craned aboard the ship after conducting mine counter-measure training. Gladiator crew members are assigned to Mine Counter-measures Squadron (HM) 5, Task Force 52, supporting mine counter-measure operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
