A mannequin receives simulated care during an 86th Medical Squadron burn victim evacuation exercise on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, May 9, 2018. To add to the realism of training, the 86th MDS used high-tech mannequins that can mimic human conditions with features such as a simulated pulse, lungs, and heart rate. Nurses can perform such actions as injecting fluids and monitoring vitals. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Elizabeth Baker)
