Sam Kamano, a horizontal construction engineer, with the 642nd Engineer Support Company, while Kamano uses a grater to even out gravel within the Army Reserve 99th Readiness Division’s Equipment Concentration Site, at Fort Drum, N.Y., May 10. Kammano described how it is better for him and the Soldiers he works with to work on projects like these because it gives them a better feel for what their job entails.
