FORT CARSON, Colo. — Staff Sgt. Ryan Belding, Army Reserve drill instructor, 415th Infantry Regiment, provides instruction to a future Soldier during a physical readiness training drill at Pershing Field May 12, 2018. The future Soldiers, all local young people enrolled in the Future Soldier program through the Colorado Springs Recruiting Company, participated in the Future Soldier Mega Event. The event was designed to introduce some of the typical stressors recruits can expect to experience during basic training.
