WASHINGTON (May 17, 2018) - The Fiscal Year 2017 U.S. Navy Shore Sailor of the Year Chief Legalman Jean Yusten, assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa / U.S. 6th Fleet, receives her combination cover after being meritoriously advanced to the rank of chief petty officer during the annual Sailor of the Year ceremony at the U.S. Navy Memorial in Washington. Yusten is one of four Navy Sailors of the year (SOYs). Throughout their weeklong visit to Washington, the SOYs and their families toured historic sites and enjoyed special events held in their honor.
