Peter Curtin, an operations officer assigned to 5th Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, sprints the last mile of an Army physical fitness test at Contingency Operating Site Marez, Iraq, Aug. 2, 2011. Curtin, a native of Boston, Mass., completed the Army physical fitness test as a prerequisite for the battalion's "Spur Ride."
