JACKSONVILLE, Fla (May. 18, 2018) The Fighting Tigers of Patrol Squadron (VP) 8 sideboys salute their Commanding Officer, Cmdr. Zachary “Stanger” Stang onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Cmdr. Edward “Teddy” Kribs, transferred command of Patrol Squadron (VP) 8. VP 8 to Cmdr. Zachary “Stanger” Stang, during a Change of Command ceremony. VP 8 returned from a six-month deployment to the 7th Fleet area of operations in April, after conducting missions and providing maritime domain awareness to supported units throughout the Indo-Asia region.
