U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (May 20, 2018) Marines assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit walk on the flight deck of the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), to relieve the symptoms of Oleoresin Capsicum spray, during a non-lethal weapons training, May 20, 2018. Iwo Jima, homeported in Mayport, Fla., is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
