180521-N-TH560-073 SAN DIEGO (May 21, 2018) Quartermaster 3rd Class Daija Anderson, from Houston, removes stencils after painting hashmarks under the Force Health and Wellness Unit Award (Green "H") on the superstructure of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Each hashmark represent an annual consecutive competition won, recognizing the ship's commitment to the health and welfare of its Sailors and Marines. Bonhomme Richard has recently completed its transition to San Diego as part of a homeport change where it is scheduled to undergo upgrades to operate the F-35B Lightning II.
