Andrew Ireland, from Coronado, California, performs a pre-flight inspection on an MH-60R Seahawk, assigned to the “Warlords” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 51, on the flight deck of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54) as the ship departs Naval Base Yokosuka, Japan, for a regularly scheduled deployment. Antietam is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
