Capt. Patrick Keplinger, a computer network service division officer with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron and a Ukiah, Calif., native, demonstrates how to harvest hydroponic basil in a greenhouse at Archi's Acres in Escondido, Calif., Aug. 4. Keplinger recently completed the six-week Veterans Sustainable Agricultural Training program, which teaches veterans and active-duty service members irrigation and hydroponic farming.
