The 101st CAB, Wings of Destiny, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) held its casing ceremony May 23, 2018 in preparation for its upcoming deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel. "We've been training relentlessly to out think, out will and out fight the enemy and now the time has come to do just that," said Col. Alia, the brigade commander. "Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas and I are both humbled and honored to serve beside each and every one of you."
