Leif Devemark (right), pumps up one of his Soldiers before the House of Terror, an event at the 10th Annual Warrior Competition on May 3, 2018. The rallying or motivating clasping of the wrist, displayed on their armor, was inspired by the movie “Predator.” The eight Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 184th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, Task Force Spartan, used the gesture to signify the brotherhood they developed in training to endure the competition.
