Lt. Col. Brian Bobo places the 34th Infantry Division “Red Bulls” on Staff Sgt. Blake Sykes during the unit’s combat patch ceremony Aug. 7. Sykes is from Moorhead, Minn., and this is his first deployment. The ceremony was held on the Army Life Support Area, Kuwait, where the unit is deployed until early summer 2012.
