An A-10 Thunderbolt II supporting operations in Southwest Asia receives fuel from a KC-10 Extender from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron May 15, 2018. The A-10 is specifically designed for close air support and has participated in operations Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Provide Comfort, Desert Fox, Noble Anvil, Deny Flight, Deliberate Guard, Allied Force, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
