A member of the U.S. Army Honor Guard presents a fold U.S. flag to Abbey McLean, sister of Army Sgt Michael James Stokely during an interment service for Stokely at Arlington National Cemetery, April 20, 2018. Stokely was assigned to the Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 108th Armor Regiment, 48th Brigade Combat Team, Griffin, GA. when he was Killed in Action near Yusufiyah, Iraq, Aug. 16, 2005. An Improvised Explosive Device detonated while Stokely and his team were conducting a dismounted night patrol. Stokely took heavy shrapnel which resulted in his death.
