Franchetti, commander, U.S. 6th Fleet and commander, Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO, places a wreath during a Memorial Day and World War I centennial commemoration ceremony at Brookwood American Military Cemetery in Brookwood, England, May 27, 2018. Admirals from U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa and U.S. 6th Fleet traveled throughout Europe visiting American cemeteries and monuments to honor the lives and legacies of fallen U.S. and allied service members that paid the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their countries.
