Capt. Thornton Ray, the operations officer (S-3) for the 1st Area Medical Laboratory, 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) Command, poses for a photo with fifth graders Alicia Pembroke and Jack Geyer after his speech at the annual Churchville Elementary School Fifth Grade Patriot Assembly on Thursday, May 24. Pembroke and Geyer completed the Patriot Program by meeting all the requirements (see attached article). Pembroke recited the Gettysburg Address and Geyer wrote a Patriot report on Jenny Wade, the only civilian killed during the battle of Gettysburg.
