Spc. Jason Wilson, radiotelephone operator from 3rd Platoon, Charger Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, scans the retina of an insurgent in the Mojave Desert at the National Training Center Aug. 14. Wilson uses the Handheld Inter-agency Identification Detection Equipment to scan the retinas and fingerprints of insurgents to determine movement patterns.
