U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Darmel Boyken, 455th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, fly away security team (FAST) member, pulls security of a C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, while loading passengers and equipment on board on May 30, 2018 at Forward Operating Base Shank, Afghanistan. The C-130J is capable of operating from rough, dirt strips and is the prime transport for airdropping troops and equipment into hostile areas. The flexible design enables it to be configured for many different missions, allowing one aircraft to perform the role of many. Aircrew members are able to focus on their jobs while the task of a FAST team is to protect aircrews and airplanes in hostile areas(U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Xavier Navarro)
