NEWPORT, R.I. (June 6, 2018) – Naval ROTC Midshipmen stand by for a room and uniform inspection in King Hall at Officer Training Command Newport during Sea Trials. Sea Trials is a 10-day event, where Midshipmen must perform a series of scenarios and properly demonstrate the skills they have developed throughout their training at the crucible Battle Stations event designed to test Midshipmen performing under pressure as they demonstrate proficiencies in physical fitness, watch standing, seamanship, firefighting, damage control, and swimming.
