Spc. Ruben Pop, a medic with Company C, Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division – Center, and a Houston native, brushes the teeth of Timer, a working dog with the 11th Iraqi Army Division. Joey and three other working dogs were inherited by the 11th IA Div. from a contracting firm and are now being re-trained by Dagger Brigade soldiers to work with 11th IA Div. handlers to detect explosive devices.
