McDew visited the DSC headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama to receive an update on the capabilities and readiness of forces under the operational control of the U.S. Army’s Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) in support of the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE). The DSC consists of 47 units with approximately 2,600 Soldiers spanning 18 States.
