GULFPORT, Miss. (June, 7, 2018) – A Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1 uses a hand saw to cut into the concrete around a crater during an airfield damage repair exercise at Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) Gulfport, Miss., June 7. The Seabees used concrete saws to cut out sections of a simulated, damaged runway for removal so that it could be repaired with fresh material to make it serviceable.
