139th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

Brig. Gen. Carter Ham, Multinational Brigade-North commanding general, and Col. Michael Rounds, Commander of 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) exit the graduation ceremony of a new Iraqi National Guard Company that will operate out of Mosul, Iraq. Soldiers of the Stryker Brigade are responsible for training and equipping Iraqi National Guard soldiers in northern Iraq. The most recent graduation of ING will add an additional 143 trained and ready Iraqi soldiers to the streets in and around Mosul. The ING, in partnership with multinational forces, are conducting joint operations to capture terrorists that have attacked Iraqi and multinational forces in an attempt to disrupt the democratic process in the region.
