GULF OF TADJOURA (May 30, 2018) Sailors assigned to Task Group (TG) 68.6 observe the Japanese Murasame-class destroyer JDS Akebono (DD 108) transiting the Port of Djibouti, Djibouti. TG-68.6 is forward-deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations and conducts joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
