Pfc. Cesar Ventura gathers his equipment after parachuting into an open area near Rukla, Lithuania on June 9, 2018 as part of Swift Response 18, a multinational training exercise designed to maintain readiness and cohesiveness of participating units from several countries. Ventura is a Paratrooper assigned to 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. The 82nd Airborne Division began the mission at its home station of Fort Bragg, N.C., conducting a non-stop transcontinental flight that featured a mid-air refueling.
