Capt. Brandon Chang, 204th Airlift Squadron pilot, conducts a pre-flight briefing with aircrew and U.S. Army Soldiers during exercise Swift Response 18 on June 8, 2018, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Members of the 4-319 Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat team were transported to Poland by the Hawaii Air National Guard to conduct static line jumps for a joint-forcible entry operation. Swift Response features airborne exercises, joint forcible entry personnel and equipment drops, air assault operations, a force buildup using a short takeoff and landing strip, and noncombatant evacuation operations with the teamwork of multinational forces.
