U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (June 10, 2018) U.S. Navy Corpsmen assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), board a CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162 (Reinforced), 26th MEU, in order to conduct in-flight care training aboard the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) in the U.S. 5th fleet area of operations, June 10, 2018. The 26th MEU and IWO ARGare deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet AO to support Maritime Security Operation to reassure partners and allies, preserve freedom of navigation, and freeflow of commerce.
