Spc. Ethan Kryla assigned to the 143rd Airborne Infantry Regiment, Rhode Island National Guard, takes notes on the radio frequencies in preparation for air assault insertion June, 10 2018, for exercise Swift Response. Exercise Swift Response 18 is an annual U.S. Army Europe-led multinational exercise being held in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. Swift Response 18 provides a vital joint and multinational training opportunity that allows command and control of complex operations from dispersed locations while ensuring that participating forces work together seamlessly to bring the full weight of the joint and combined team to bear – wherever and whenever needed.
