After more than 100 Soldiers from the 3rd Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment assaulted through their objective on the north side of the Neman River, the 130th Deutsch Engineer Battalion began bridging operations to establish a secure method for crossing nearly 200 Strykers and military support vehicles in Kaunas, Lithuania, June 13, 2018.. The Regimental Engineer Squadron, 2CR successfully facilitated the crossing in order to enable 2CR to launch combat power forward, extending its reach during operations. 2CR is currently supporting the U.S. Army Europe-led multinational exercise Saber Strike 18, scheduled to conclude June 15.
