What appears to be a lonely paratrooper, is one of 500 who assaulted Juliet Drop Zone in northern Italy. This parachute assault called "Rock Drop" is a battalion sized seizure of contested territory is a joint operation between the 2-503rd Infantry (The Rock) supported by Italian Paratroopers. The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the Contingency Response Force for US Army Europe, Africa and the Middle East, capable of deploying ready forces within 18 hours of notification.
