Mr. Logan F. Harris, a helicopter instructor pilot with the U.S. Forest Service, observes an Oregon Army National Guard crew from Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 168th Aviation Regiment, as they complete a Bambi Bucket drop in a CH-47 Chinook helicopter on May 5, 2018, during their annual yearly wild land fire fighting certification. The unit demonstrated their ability to complete both trail and spot water drops on predetermined targets above the training area off the Columbia River near Pendleton, Oregon. Mr. Harris evaluates what's known as special-use mission bucket drops and certifies entities across Oregon, Washington and Alaska for the US Forest Service. (Photo by Capt.
