A U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk is the last to leave Joint Base
McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Aug. 27 in anticipation of Hurricane Irene's arrival.
The Black Hawk and its crew transported soldiers from Fort Knox, Ky., to here for training. The Black Hawk is the last helicopter to leave the
installation. The crew, from the Clearwater Aviation Support Facility out of Clearwater, Fla., includes pilots Chief Warrant Officer 2 Travis Maus and
1st Lt. Damian Graham; and their crew chief, Staff Sgt. Tom Zawisza. All
helicopters and aircraft have been positioned inside hangars or evacuated to other installations in preparation for Hurricane Irene. Zawisza calls Cape Coral, Fla., home.
